Lori thrives on accompanying her clients on their journey of hope and change.

She understands that living with anxiety and depression is exhausting and so often isolating.  Her clients may feel feel afraid, alone, and hopeless wondering if they can even make it anymore.  Some women describe feeling lost and don't recognize themselves.  Oftentimes these clients are caregivers, mothers, and employees that have selflessly sacrificed for others in their lives but forgotten to care for themselves. Lori offers a warm, safe, and friendly environment allowing her clients to explore and heal the parts of them that are hurting.  She teaches valuable coping tools to manage anxiety, calm their racing minds down, and experience joy again. Relationships in these client's lives have often been struggling so Lori helps her client's learn healthy communication and relationship skills to strengthen them.

Lori also works with today's teens who are facing more pressures and stressors in life than ever before.  She feels comfortable building strong relationships and relating to your teen's issues and struggles.  Through these relationships, Lori works with teens in how to deal with their anxiety, finding the words to express their emotions they feel so deeply, and planning for their futures. Our teens benefit from learning to be assertive and stand up for their beliefs.  Lori encourages developing self-confidence and a sense of empowerment in each of the teenagers she works with.  Often these teens express what a difference it makes in their lives to have someone safe to talk to that they feel isn't judging them but challenges them to be their best selves.

She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of Utah.  She has been practicing therapy for 15+ years working with both teens, women, and families in both residential and private therapy settings.  She is an avid University of Utah Alumni where she graduated Cum Laude with her bachelor's degree. Lori was beyond blessed to attend graduate school in Honolulu, Hawaii where she graduated from Chaminade University of Honolulu with a master's in Counseling Psychology and Marriage and Family Therapy. She always knew she would be a therapist even as a young teen herself.

Being a therapist and joining with her client's through their journeys of self-discovery and healing she believes is one of the greatest privileges of her life.
